ACQUISITIONS Magnet Releasing, the genre arm of Magnolia Pictures, has acquired North American rights to the horror movie “Amulet,” the feature directorial debut of actress-turned-filmmaker Romola Garai.
The film, starring Carla Juri, Alec Secareanu, Imelda Staunton and Angeliki Papoulia, premiered in January in the Midnight section at Sundance.
