coronavirus.Every day the NHS in England gives an update on Covid-19 related fatalities at hospital trusts across the country.These are cases where a patient has tested positive or where Covid-19 is mentioned on their death certificate.Today (Wednesday) the NHS said a further 53 deaths had been recorded the region's hospital trusts, again one of the highest recorded in recent weeks.
A total of 33 these were recorded by Pennine Acute NHS Trust.This means the trust, which runs, North Manchester General Hospital, Fairfield General Hospital in Bury, the Royal Oldham Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary, has recorded a total of 55 deaths alone in the previous 48 hours.The Manchester Foundation Trust which runs several of the city's major hospitals.
