Phillip Schofield
Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Fern Britton ends Phillip Schofield feud with sweet message on his TV anniversary

Fern Britton showed there was no bad blood between her and her former This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield as she congratulated him on his 40 years on TV.

The pair presented the ITV daytime show together for years but it was reported that things went sour following Fern's exit and rumours of a feud have swirled around ever since.

However, Fern put an end to any suggestions of beef between them when she made an appearance on Lorraine, on which Phil's television anniversary was being celebrated.

The presenter popped up via video link and told her old co-host: "40 years is an incredible milestone and it's time for you to stop and look back and see all that you have achieved and be proud of it, you know?"So I'm wishing you a very happy future."Congratulations and keep going," she added.Schofe, 59, looked touched, saying: "Thank you very much."The pair hosted This Morning together from 2002 to 2009, when Fern left.There were rumours that there had been a row over pay but Fern later denied that.Speaking on The Ray D'Arcy Show on RTE Radio 1 in 2020, she said: "There was also a persistent rumour that I left because Phillip was being paid more than me and I always say to people, 'Why would I leave a show to go to nothing if I was worried about money?'"The 64-year-old also said she was starting "not to enjoy it so much" and that on the morning she resigned, she didn't know she was going to do so."Something happened and I thought, 'That’s it really' and I walked away and resigned," she said.Several stars paid tribute to Phillip during the special episode of Lorraine, including his old Going Live!
