Irvine songstress Eddi Reader has got back behind the mic — in a bid to spark the love of reading in every child in Scotland.The former Fairground Attraction frontwoman has recorded a story for families with young children to support a partnership between charities Children 1st and the Dollywood Foundation UK.

From today, families can enjoy watching the Brit Award winner’s reading of the Puffin book “Super Duper You” by Sophy Henn on Children 1st's website.The book celebrates all the different, sometimes contradictory, things we are, through the eyes of a loving sibling.As well as listening to her story, families are being encouraged to donate to inspire a love of reading in pre-school children who may not have access to books at home.With.
