Face mask scammers get ready to cash in as Brits lose £5m to coronavirus conmen

Scammers and conmen look set to cash in on new coronavirus safety rules designed to protect us from the virus. On June 15 it will become compulsory to cover your face while travelling on public transport.

But with masks not the easiest to find, it's a perfect opportunity for fraudsters to con people out of cash. Emails have already been reported to the National Cyber Security Centre showing criminals exploiting coronavirus through fake offers of face masks and testing kits.
