Winter has arrived early in Scotland with many regions experiencing gale force winds, power cuts, plummeting temperatures and even some snowfall over the last few days.
The latest forecast predicts more cold and wet weather is on the way, but while some people may be reluctant to crank up, or even switch on the heating due to the hike in energy bills, there are also a few money-saving winter tips which could actually cost you more cash.
