Ex-EastEnders actress Katie Jarvis to stand trial for assault in seafront row

dailystar.co.ukEastEnders appeared at the Basildon Crown Court today to be charged for racially aggravated harassment, common assault and two counts of assault by beating.
Details of the case were not given at today’s plea hearing and Katie was bailed until her trial, which is scheduled to take place in April of next year.The 29 year old from Rainham only spoke to confirm her identity, personal details and to deny the charges put against her.The trial is in relation to an incident in Southend in Essex that took play in July of last year.A recording of the incident showed an argument where drinks were thrown.Katie’s character, Hayley Slater played a huge role in the 2018 Christmas special where she ended up having a baby with Alfie Moon, her second cousin.
