Ex-Coventry City manager John Sillett has died aged 85, his family has announced.Sillett famously guided Coventry to an FA Cup win in 1987, beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 in the final.

Commentator John Motson described it as the most entertaining final he had ever witnessed.In a statement announcing his passing, Sillett's family said he was man who "looked at life with a happiness that was contagious"."Obviously today the family and really saddened by Dad's passing but we are all so proud of him and what he achieved," his family said."His ability to spot things tactically, change them during a game and enhance the abilities of players was top class.
