Erling Haaland waved farewell after Borussia Dortmund's win over Greuther Furth last week. Dortmund beat Furth 3-0 at Signal Iduna Park and Haaland scored a brace, but he was also spotted bidding his farewells to fans.
Dortmund's sporting director, Michael Zorc, subsequently admitted that the post-match gesture from Haaland was 'a bit strange'.
That was also the last home game for Dortmund before the winter break in Germany and now speculation is rife that Haaland - the centre-forward scored 41 goals in 41 games last season - could be set to leave the club in the January transfer window.
Manchester United and Manchester City are both admirers of Haaland, who is attracting interest from Europe's most elite sides.
