Erling Haaland has named Chelsea boss Frank Lampard as the retired player he’d most like to have played with. The Borussia Dortmund striker had been taking the Bundesliga by storm prior to the league being being suspended with nine goals in eight league games.
And as he awaits the return of the campaign, the talented 19-year-old took part in quick-fire Q&A with ESPN. Asked who the one player he’d want to have have played with that’s retired, he replied: “Frank Lampard.” The Chelsea manager bagged an incredible 147 league goals during his time with the Blues and was always on hand to provide assists to his forwards.
