It’s been a tricky time for single dad Marlon Dingle since he found out that his little daughter April is being trolled. And there’s worse to come when the village chef discovers that the wicked online taunters have created an account that they’ve named Dead Donna.

Marlon's late wife Donna first appeared in the soap - then called Emmerdale Farm - in August 1993, just a few months ahead of the plane crash that led to both the village and show changing their names.

Actress Verity Rushworth took over the role of Viv and Vic’s daughter in 1998, and viewers saw Donna enjoy romances with Robert Sugden, Danny Daggert and Max King before tying the knot with widower Marlon.
