Emmerdale's Charity heartbreak teased as Vanessa's head gets turned by newcomer Suzy

Emmerdale newcomer Suzy (Martelle Edinborough) is set to turn Vanessa Woodfield's (Michelle Hardwick) head in upcoming scenes.Fans of the ITV soap would have seen Vanessa briefly bump into Suzy last week and accidentally ruined the cake she was carrying.The pair are set to come face-to-face again and sparks fly between them.Speaking about her new storyline, actress Michelle Hardwick told Daily Star and other press: "When they bump into each other for the second time, Vanessa has been having a dabble online with some dating apps."Suzy then comes into the bar to meet Priya for a work meeting."They have a drink and it turns into a little bit of flirty banter without them sort of realising."I think there is definitely an attraction there on Vanessa's part during that second meeting."Suzy actress Martelle Edinboroigh added: "I think Suzy's pleasantly surprised with Vanessa but she's not sure quite what it is at this point."There is definitely something between them which could progress.

Suzy is very confident and likes to get what she wants." The arrival of Suzy will definitely ruffle a few feathers in the village, especially Vanessa's ex Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).Vanessa and Charity have been warring in recent weeks since their split, with Charity seemingly moving on with Mack Body (Lawrence Robb) and time called on the pair ever getting back together.However, fans have seen delicate moments between them both, with a kiss almost on the cards between them following the disastrous reopening of The Woolpack.Vanessa popped into The Woolpack for a drink last week, and was served by Charity.
