Emmerdale's newbie Suzy has a secret link to Leyla Harding and both appear to be hiding a huge secret. Viewers of the ITV soap were hooked after Leyla made a phone call to a mysterious friend and everyone was left wondering what she was hiding.

Leyla's actions look suspicious, and next week fans will find out she has at least one secret.Leyla and Vanessa Woodfield's new love interest Suzy appear to have a hidden past and Leyla is not happy she is in the village.Vanessa sees Leyla's reaction and questions what is between them, but not everything is out in the open yet.Vanessa is forced to stay at home with her son Johnny who becomes ill, meaning she cant make a date.Suzy thinks she has been stood up, but Vanessa explains the situation and asks to take her out.Later in the week Vanessa goes wine tasting with her at David Metcalfe's shop and then the pair go to the pub.When Leyla sees Suzy after walking in, it's clear she is shocked.Vanessa asks how they know each other and Suzy claims they both met while events planning.Leyla is shaken after seeing Suzy but Suzy reassures her their secret is safe.Perhaps their relationship is linked to Wendy Posner being suspicious about her going missing, days after she took a cryptic phone call form a mystery caller.Leyla was clearly hiding something from Liam.She said: "Hi, I thought I was supposed to be ringing you?
