Residents will need proof of address to use recycling centres in South Lanarkshire when they reopen on June 1.South Lanarkshire Council have introduced a raft of restrictions including limits to the number of people on site and what waste and recyclables can be disposed of.The council is urging residents to consider if any visit to a recycling centre is really necessary as lengthy queues are expected and no one will be permitted to join queues after closing time.Access to the six recycling centres will only be for South Lanarkshire residents and proof of address must be brought otherwise people may be turned away.Residents will be only be able to dispose of general waste, cardboard and compostable garden waste as a number of restrictions
