Spanish police were called to meet a flight from Manchester as it touched down after rowdy passengers caused havoc on board.
Cabin crew on the Easyjet flight EZY2015 from Manchester to Alicante were forced to call the force after 'disruption' from a group of passengers left them 'unable to operate'.
The plane was then unable to return to Manchester following the disruption on Thursday (April 13), leaving returning passengers stranded and forced to miss their flight.
Easyjet told the Manchester Evening News the disruption was due to the behaviour of a group of passengers, adding that they 'do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour onboard'.
