ARRESTED on terrorism charges, Aaron Monroe has been in prison since January, leading fans to wonder about his fate. However, EastEnders bosses confirmed that actor Charlie Wernham has filmed his final scenes some time ago.

Many fans will be pleased to know Aaron Monroe won't be back to wreak havoc in Albert Square as they asked for him to be booted out of the show.

The character portrayed by actor Charlie Wernham was involved in the BBC One soap's far-right storyline since he made his first appearance in Walford in October.

Viewers may remember that Aaron had been part of a plot to plant a bomb in the Square during the festive season. This was until his cabbie father Harvey (portrayed by Ross Boatman) turned him in for his racist behaviour.
