Former EastEnders actor Deepak Verma made a surprise appearance on BBC News when reporter Dan Johnson interviewed the soap star on a deserted beach in Hastings.
The 50-year-old, who played Sanjay Kapoor on the BBC soap between 1993 and 1998, was seen taking a stroll on the south coast beach.
Of course, due to the government lockdown, it was completely deserted, which is what Deepak spoke to the reporter about. He said: "It's all just empty, it's like The Walking Dead.
All the restaurants are all closed." And although Deepak has not been seen on the soap in 22 years, viewers instantly recognised him.
