Former EastEnders hard man Ross Kemp has upset viewers with his latest documentary, which sees him in a hospital as NHS staff struggle with the coronavirus pandemic.
The actor was granted access by Milton Keynes University Hospital Trust to document how NHS staff are coping under the added stress of the pandemic.
But he has received major backlash from viewers, who have been pointing out that while he is allowed into the hospital, patients are dying alone and their own families are barred from visiting them.
Milton Keynes University Hospital Trust has now come out and defended Ross, saying that he can connect with viewers better than traditional news outlets can.
