Ross Kemp has visited some of the deadliest places on earth, but a hospital amid the coronavirus pandemic has proved his most controversial yet.
The presenter has been granted special access by the Milton Keynes University Hospital Trust to document the challenges NHS staff are facing on the front line.
This has received a fierce backlash from some viewers, who point out that patients are dying alone and cannot see their families, yet Ross is allowed into the hospital.
The hospital agreed with NHS England to facilitate filming for ITV during the national emergency to reinforced advice to help limit the spread of the virus.
