'Early winter' heading to the UK with temperatures to plunge to -10

According to The Weather Outlook, the region could experience -10C next month.Forecaster Brian Gaze claims an "early winter" is expected to bring in chilly temperatures in the coming weeks.He said: “It looks like an early winter, with the cards stacked in favour of a cold second half of autumn due to La Nina.“-10C is expected in Scotland and -7C in England by late November, with snow on Scottish mountains now, in northern England from early November and the South at risk from late November.”In better news for today's forecast, Met Office forecaster Rebecca Mitchell said there will be plenty of sunshine after a chilly start to the day.A few light showers are expected to hit coastal areas, in particular North Sea coastal.
