Drivers risk £2,500 fines and licence points for ignoring basic car issue

Previously, it was revealed three common "thank you gestures" could land drivers £1,00 fines – including a thumbs up. Almost a third (29.1%) of motorists choose to say "thank you" on the roads by waving, a survey found.
