crash between a bus and a car near Glasgow Fort.The driver of a car was rushed to University Hospital Monklands in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire after colliding with the bus yesterday evening.The 44-year-old driver was later charged in connection with the incident.We told yesterday how emergency services raced to the scene on the B806.The collision occurred on Gartloch Road, Gartcosh, at around 6.10pm on Sunday, November 15, after a McGill’s Bus crashed with a car.An eyewitness told how both vehicles had careered down an embankment and were badly damaged after the serious collision.The driver of the car was rushed to hospital and later charged in connection with the incident.The bus driver also sustained injuries as a result of the smash.
