Katie Tootell was out with her dog on a in Anglesey, Wales, when she noticed the peculiar organisms.Katie said she knows the beach very well, having walked it regularly over the past 12 years, so she was stunned when she came across the out of the ordinary discovery in Traeth Lligwy, near Moelfre, on Monday, April 3.At first, she was sure her dogs were just sniffing at a washed up jellyfish, reports North Wales Live.
However, as she looked closer she realised that had come across something quite different. Her pooches had found a rubbery pile of translucent worm-like creatures, each around two inches long.
The unusual critturs came to a length of around 25cm and on close inspection can be seen to include hundreds of tiny dots - thought to be eggs.
After making the unusual discovery, Katie said: "I came upon it while walking my dogs on Traeth Lligwy on Monday morning."The dogs spotted it first and when they started to sniff it I thought they'd just come across a jellyfish, but when I saw it up close, I didn't have a clue what it was.
