Dog rescuers say they have just five days to save the life of a Chihuahua left paralysed because he was overweight. Six-year-old Button Moon needs urgent surgery to save his spine which collapsed after he ended up double his normal size.

He was left dragging his back legs after ending up weighing 8.4kg. But the vital op to save his spine costs £6,000 and the public are being urged to help.
