During a barnstorming Investor Day presentation, the Walt Disney Co. said Thursday that its Disney+ streaming service will soon be adding Singapore to its footprint in Asia.
The streaming service will launch in the Southeast Asian city-state on Feb. 23, 2021. The Singaporean product offering will include Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and the newly revamped international brand Star, making the territory the first market to launch Disney+ with all six of the company's content brands.
To date, Disney+ has launched in the Asia-Pacific region in the following markets: Australia, New Zealand, India (via the Hotstar brand), Japan and Indonesia.
