Atletico Madrid are open to selling Diego Costa when the transfer window reopens - making him available for a potential Premier League return.
Costa, 31, has spent three years back at Atletico since rejoining from Chelsea in 2017. But after inspiring the Blues to a pair of Premier League titles, and with an impressive return of 20 goals to show each campaign, the controversial striker has failed to rediscover his best goalscoring form since returning to Spain.
And according to Mundo Deportivo, Atletico are prepared to offload him for a second time in the next transfer window. Reports in Italy suggest Roma are eyeing up a move for Costa amid their search for a new centre-forward.
