David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English former professional footballer, the current president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. The former Glacticos played together at Real Madrid between 2003 and 2007 and formed a bond that has lasted long after they retired from professional football.

David Beckham, who had joined from Manchester United, went on to play for LA Galaxy, Milan and PSG while Ronaldo played for both Milan and Corinthians having made his name at Barcelona and Inter.

The world famous former athletes have now hinted at plans to put together a legends match to raise funds for those impacted by COVID-19, with Beckham pointing towards those who are classed as key workers.

The pair had an honest chat in an Instagram live session on Wednesday evening, with both currently staying at home to avoid aiding the spread of the virus.
