Darts? Check. Trousers? Oh no!That was the scenario facing PDC darts professional Daryl Gurney after he arrivred in Germany for a pair of Players Championship events in Niedernhausen and the World Cup of Darts in Frankfurt.
Due to rising temperatures at home and on the continent, the Northern Irishman presumably travelled in shorts but unfortunately forgot to pack any longer legwear. While the dress code for darts players has been relaxed over the years, it doesn’t quite extend to players being allowed to wear shorts, meaning Gurney had to find a fresh pair, so he turned to fellow player Martin Lukeman.
Super Chin tweeted: “It’s [hot face emoji] here in Germany and I’ve forgot my trousers. Luckily Martin Lukeman lent me some.
Two pro tours this week starting today thanks to @totalhire @TxoddsDarts @TxoddsDarts @Winmau. After Players Championship tournaments today (Tuesday) and on Wednesday, Gurney will turn his attention to the World Cup, when he will partner Brendon Dolan in the Northern Ireland team.
