Former Premier League striker Darren Huckerby has said he is "incredibly disappointed and hurt" after his teenage son Ben was convicted of robbery.
The ex-Norwich City star expressed his shock at Ben's actions and said he was "devastated" for his victims. Ben, 18, was 'caught read handed' with a stolen Apple watch and a necklace after threatening other teenagers in the Castle Gardens area of Norwich on January 12 with two accomplices.
Huckerby, Levi Licorish, 18, and Lucas Philpott, 19 all pleaded guilty to robbery. He has been sentenced to three years in a young offenders' institute, while Licorish has been sentenced to two years and nine months and Philpott has been sentenced to 15 months.
