Joshua Hughes has been found guilty of kidnap and rape following a four-day trial and will be sentenced next month. The 27-year-old grabbed the teenager by the neck before dragging her to a nearby secluded location where he raped her, Cheshire Police said.
The attack took place near to Grosvenor Park in Chester at around 8.20pm on October 31 last year. The victim was walking up the steps near to Chester suspension bridge towards the city centre with two of her friends when the group were approached by Hughes.Read more on manchestereveningnews.co.uk
