He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Rebekah Vardy was axed from Dancing on Ice tonight after she admitted she 'screwed up' her final skate.The 39-year-old media personality told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield her dance 'was awful' before the judges sent her home.Vardy and her professional partner Andy Buchanan were in the skate off against rapper Lady Leshurr and her skating partner Brendyn Hadfield.Despite her best efforts, Rebekah was sent home by the judges just a week before the semi-finals.After her skate off performance, Rebekah was heard telling Andy: "I screwed up so bad".ITV has confirmed that the DOI final will now move forward by one week, with the celebrities battling it out for the title on March 14 instead.A spokesperson from ITV said in a statement:.
