Dad-of-two Craig spent six days in hospital on maximum oxygen battling the virus - at one point texting fiancé Laura Wilson, 41, to ask why he hadn't written a will as she had suggested - before recovering enough to be discharged on Sunday.
But the 43-year-old, who was fit and well with no pre-existing health conditions, was left heartbroken at the fate of other patients in his quarantined
