She attacked Adam and left him for dead after she mistook him for Ray Crosby, who recently tried to rape her. Faye is struggling to cope with the guilt, and so she tells Craig Tinker about the attempted rape, telling Craig she cheated on him and slept with Ray.
Craig is left reeling but supports Faye and helps her hand herself in at the police station. In the police interview room, a terrified Faye explains how she attacked Adam thinking he was Ray.
