Faye was taken advantage of and manipulated into sleeping with Ray, before he made an attempt to rape her weeks later. In the aftermath, Faye attacked Ray - not realising it was actually Adam Barlow who she hit over the head and left for dead.
Amid her guilt, and brother Gary being in prison for the crime, Faye now feared she was pregnant with Ray's baby. After Tim tried to work out what she was hiding, as she continued to hide away, he finally got her to open up to him.
