Kilmarnock's iconic Roon the Toon 10K road race will now take place on Sunday, August 30.The fifth anniversary of the event had been originally scheduled for Sunday, June 7.However, the coronavirus outbreak and restrictions placed on people's movements by the UK and Scottish governments as a result of it saw organisers move the date.Competitors who are unable to make the late-August gathering can carry forward their entry to the 2021 edition of the race or receive a full refund.Organisers want to make this year's race the biggest and best yet with a number of “birthday treats” being incorporated into it.The race will also provide the opportunity for the 178 people who have competed in all four events to date to earn their prestigious “5
