Coronavirus has officially been classed as a global pandemic as the killer bug continues to infect people around the world. In the UK, the number of cases has risen to 460, with eight deaths.
Today, the government will discuss drastic emergency laws in an effort to contain the crisis. Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar has also today announced the country would go into lockdown as of 6pm - with schools, universities and public offices closing.
Varadkar: "We have not witnessed a pandemic of this nature in living memory and this is uncharted territory for us." UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock said he will be meeting with opposition leaders to discuss the crisis.
