Esther Rantzen has been forced to take drastic measures throughout the coronavirus outbreak. The 79-year-old now has to cancel her upcoming 80th birthday party which she was due to celebrate in just a few weeks' time.
The much-loved star told BBC Radio 2 presenter Jeremy Vine that she was feeling 'strange' and 'discombobulated' amid the coronavirus madness.
Opening up about the year ahead, Esther admitted that she felt all her plans and 'thought's had been ruined thanks to the highly contagious virus. "It's very strange to be honest.
All the thoughts and plans and ideas I had, including my 80th birthday this year, are actually being postponed until next year. "So, I think we are all feeling a bit discombobulated aren't we?
