Esther Rantzen , 79, has some sage advice for the over 70s who are self-isolating for four months to avoid the spread of coronavirus .
The ChildLine founder explained that Shakespeare self-isolated in the 1600s due to the plague - and during this time he wrote King Lear, Macbeth and Anthony and Cleopatra.
Therefore, she suggested the elderly use their time in isolation to write something of their own. "Four months, when you've been living for 70 years, is a short time really, it passes like a flash," she began.
