A doctor's death at Wuhan's "whistleblower" hospital has sparked outrage in China. Dr Hu Weifeng, 42, died on Tuesday after a four-month battle with coronavirus.
He was a urologist at Wuhan Central Hospital and is reported to be the sixth doctor there to die from Covid-19. And he worked at the same hospital as Li Wenliang, a doctor who tried to warn people about the virus in December but was punished and censored for his actions.
Wenliang later died from the disease, prompting national outrage. And now the death of Weifeng has stirred similar emotions, accusing China of not protecting its staff.
