dailystar.co.ukCoronation Street star Ian Bartholomew has teased his return to the cobbles.The 67-year-old actor played the evil domestic abuser Geoff Metcalfe on the ITV soap from 2018 - 2020.Geoff was dramatically killed off in a nail-biting rooftop battle with his ex-wife Yasmeen (Shelley King) and her daughter Alya Nazir (Sair Khan), which aired in December 2020.In spite of his character's onscreen death, Ian has recently fuelled rumours that Geoff could be resurrected and return to Weatherfield.The speculation began when Ian replied to a tweet posted by Joe McIntyre actor Reece Dinsdale, who recently returned to the show.Reece shared a photo and a post about his route to work on set, which received an interesting reply from Ian.On Thursday (June 9), the Geoff Metcalfe actor responded: "'Tis a goodly view.
