The COP26 summit in Glasgow could increase pressure on Scotland's already struggling health service, Humza Yousaf has admitted.
The health secretary said the tens of thousands of delegates heading to Clydeside "may well have heart attacks, strokes, slips, trips and falls".
Leaders from across the globe will descend on Glasgow at the end of the month for the largest political gathering ever held in the UK, with Joe Biden and the Pope among the VIPs expected to attend.
The climate change conference will take place at the SEC - just a short distance from the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, which has been under huge strain in recent months.
