Conor McGregor has been offered the chance to make UFC history with welterweight champion Kamaru Usman’s manager calling out ‘Notorious’ on Twitter.
McGregor has won UFC championships at two weights and could now become the organisation’s first three-weight world champ. He returned to the Octagon in January and dispatched of Donald Cerrone in less than a minute in his first fight back.
That was in the welterweight division and he could now face Usman, who won the welterweight strap in March 2019 after outpointing Tyron Woodley, before he knocked out Colby Covington in his only defence in December.
