rescue operation was launched after a kid plunged more than 30 feet from a Scots lighthouse to the rocks below. Aberdeen Coastguard raced into action over reports the child had fallen around ten metres on rocks near Boddam Lighthouse near Peterhead.
A helicopter from Inverness was called with nearby rope rescue teams and ambulances also called to the shout. The kid was treated for 'multiple injuries' on the rocks before being airlifted from the area.They are in hospital but their current condition is unknown.A statement from HM Coastguard Aberdeen read: "This afternoon a multi agency response was initiated by Aberdeen Coastguard Operations Centre after reports of a child having fallen approximately 10 metres on rocks near Boddam.
