A child is in hospital tonight after being hit by a car during rush-hour in Dundee.Emergency crews raced to the incident on South Road after receiving the alarm at around 5pm on Friday, March 15.

Crews attended and a girl was found injured.She was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment. Her condition is currently unknown.

Officers from Police Scotland say inquiries into the collision remain ongoing. Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 5pm on Friday we received a report of a crash involving a car and pedestrian at South Road, Dundee.
