Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards has opened up about her long-distance relationship with her former Liverpool footballer fiancé as she said: “We make it work for the ones we love.”The 30-year-old popstar, who dropped her debut solo single, 'Forget About Us' on April 12, is engaged to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who now plays in Turkey, which is roughly 2,500 miles away from their Cheshire home.However, Perrie has revealed that despite being engaged and sharing their two-year-old son, Axel together, the couple have lived in separate houses for most of their eight-year relationship.The mum-of-one said that former England midfielder Alex, 30, built her a studio in their home so she could juggle raising their son while also recording her solo material, the Mirror reports.She explained: “When he was playing for Liverpool and based in Manchester, it was so easy to do the back and forth but Turkey is a little bit further and he doesn’t get a lot of time off. “I’m trying to launch a solo career whilst having a two year old so it is a lot to juggle but we make it work for the ones we love, don’t we? "We’ve never lived together – the eight years we’ve been in a relationship, we’ve never actually lived together.” Despite the pressures of having a long distance relationship, Perrie insists that she and Alex never row.Speaking on tomorrow night's Jonathan Ross Show, she says: “We’re very laid back and very chilled.
But at the same time, I can be a little bit of a petty b***h. “I’m very stubborn, I’m very emotional but not in the best way.
