Charlotte Kirk, the actress at the center of NBCUniversal vice chairman Ron Meyer’s sudden exit earlier this week, has apparently pulled out of a virtual Q&A after the screening of The Reckoning at the Fantasia Film Festival on Thursday night.
Kirk had been scheduled to answer questions via the Zoom platform from film viewers alongside Neil Marshall, director of The Reckoning, and who is also her husband.
A Fantasia spokesperson told THR that the decision to cancel the Q&A was mutually made by Marshall and the festival "so as to not take any attention away from the premiere this evening." But it follows revelations earlier this week that Kirk, whose involvement with Warner Bros.
