Dramatic pictures show the destruction inside a Costa Coffee branch after the ceiling appears to have caved in. Passers-by spotted what had happened this morning at the outlet in Lincoln.
Photos of the debris show pieces of plasterboard spread across the furniture and floor. Tables and chairs were tipped over, and metal struts are seen hanging from the ceiling, Lincolnshire Live reports.
Fortunately nobody appears to have been inside when the incident took place. The branch has been closed since March when the Government put the UK into lockdown.
And despite some of the company's 2,700 UK stores reopening already, this one has not thrown open its doors again yet. It is unknown at this time if the store in Brayford Wharf, which is attached
