GMP said early enquiries suggest that a VW Golf collided with a parked car before colliding with the front of a property.After this crash, the VW Golf then collied with three other parked cars.The driver of the Golf - a 23-year-old man - sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision and was taken to hospital.Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue said crews had to cut him free from the vehicle.
He is in a stable condition, but his injuries are thought to be potentially life-changing, police said.Pictures taken at the scene show a number of damaged vehicles.
