A care home has started an investigation after staff were filmed dancing on chairs and doing wheelies on a wheelchair. The "high spirits" appeared on social media and triggered outrage among some members of the public.
One member of staff is seen whizzing across the floor on a frame used by frail residents. The same member of staff is helped by another to do a wheelie in a wheelchair.
About a dozen staff are dancing around a room and stood up on chairs. The party took place after the staff had helped at a VE Day celebration for residents.
The staff at Stoneleigh House in Oldham will all be suspended said the home's manager. Their antics prompted some people to call for them to be sacked.
