Car on its side with road shut off after serious crash in Bolton

Emergency vehicles were scrambled following a two-vehicle collision just after 6pm on Marsden Road, at its junction with Spa Road, Deansgate and Moor Lane.
A police spokesperson confirmed an incident was ongoing. One woman has been taken to hospital, although it is not known how serious her injuries are.
Pictures show the road cordoned off with a large number of police vehicles in attendance. Witnesses at the scene say two cars were involved in the collision, with photos showing one vehicle on its side.
